This course will study food and its preparation, to know how we come to feel comfortable that what we eat is permissible to us. We'll start with foods, which are prohibited by the Torah, which by Chazal, move to mixtures and how those are or aren't affected by the presence of prohibited foods, and go from there to pots, pans, and other food-handling utensils, to see what makes them usable or not in a kosher home.   To apply to join this course, please click here.
