NON-JEWS AND TSEDAKA I: Our first topic deals with the position of non-Jews in the mitzvah of tsekada. Is it a mitzvah to support the non-Jewish poor? Can the Jewish poor accept donations from non-Jews? A link with Hebrew sources has been sent to all participants. The texts will be translated and analyzed in class.

PUBLICIZING DONORS: Our final topic in this series has to do with publicizing donors, especially when those donors are wicked people who are donating only to give themselves an air of public respectability.

In addition to being one of Rabbi Brovender's first students, Rabbi Dovid Fink is an outstanding expertᅠand teacher of Halacha. Rabbi Fink received his Rabbinic ordination from ITRI and the Mir and was awarded his Ph.D in Semitic Languages and Linguistics from Yale University. Rav Fink has taught thousands of students from all over the world for over 35 years.
