Modesty and Halacha

Modesty and Halacha

Modesty is a great value in Torah life. We will study the opinions of the great poskim on a number of issues including: head covering for married women; women’s singing voice; standards of dress; and the tension between modesty and personal dignity. Although discussions of modesty often center on women, we will also learn how these principles apply to men. Join Rabbi Dovid Fink and survey the writings of the greatest authorities (פוסקים) on these issues.
