The Seder: Tzafun

The Seder: Tzafun

On Seder night we hide the matzah. Why? From whom is it hidden and what does hiding it symbolize? This is even more interesting if one remembers that Joseph was called in Egyptian –  ‘צפנת פענח’ -the one who reveals or deciphers. Is there a connection between the words and the subjects? Join Rabbanit Yafit Clymer as she explores these and other questions about הצפון/Tzafun on Seder night.
