What is Chametz?

The Torah said not to eat Chametz on Pesach. Join Rabbi Dr. Stuart Fischman and learn what foods this includes, what chametz represents mystically for the Jewish People, and the relevant halachot regarding chametz and Pesach.
What is Chametz?: Lesson
Hello Everyone,
I hope that your are all doing well during these trying times.
In tomorrow’s class , “What is Chametz?” we will discuss the question of whiskey on Pesach. “Chametz” in the Gemara is described as dough from specific grains which reacts in a particular fashion to a specific environmental factor ( for the details I invite you to listen to last week’s class).
But whiskey is a beverage so how did it become included in the category of chametz? We will see tomorrow how this came to be.
