The Halacha Mastery Program is a tuition-based program for both men and women committed to a halachic lifestyle with some background in learning Jewish texts.
Developed by Rabbi Chaim Brovender, it emphasizes the importance of knowing practical halacha: how to recognize a question and access an answer and how to act in the situations that arise, including explaining halachic issues to our children. The Halacha Mastery Program provides the literacy and knowledge of the underlying halachic concepts and principles that stand behind the halachic system and guide modern poskim in determining the law.
The full Halacha Mastery Program consists of six courses, three of which are mandatory and three of which are chosen from a list of electives. The courses are held live online, are fully interactive, and recorded and posted to the course pages.
Students who cannot commit to taking the live courses at their allotted times can undertake a personal schedule of study via the recorded archives, benefit from the same access to our outstanding faculty, and take the exams and complete the program at their own pace. Guided source material will be distributed and posted to the course pages each week and it is expected that students spend a certain amount of time preparing and reviewing between classes.
Included with most courses is a weekly tutorial and review session. These sessions are optional but highly recommended.
Students who complete the six courses and pass all exams will receive a certificate attesting to mastery of all program materials. Alternatively, accepted students may take individual courses without committing to the entire schedule.
